Project Cereal Box
The Whittier 5th grade students need your help! Their service project this year is to collect unopened cereal boxes to donate to local food pantries! The goal is to collect at least 300 boxes by June 7th! A donation box is set up by the office or students can drop off to their teacher. Next week, cereal boxes will line the hallways of Whittier. As we watch the falling dominos make their way through the halls of Whittier, local food pantry trucks will be waiting to receive our donations! Help our 5th graders, help the community! Donate a box or two today! Thank you for your participation in this fun event!

A NOW A MESSAGE FROM YOUR PTA….
It is hard to believe we are wrapping up the 2021-2022 year!
Mandi Torello, Sarah Forillo, Barb Allen– thank you for leading us through the uncertainty and volunteering your time and talent as PTA board members. The 2022-2023 Board has big shoes to fill!
We want to express our gratitude to all of the amazing volunteers, committee chairs, teachers, staff/administration and helpers who have made this year a success despite all the obstacles faced. We know many of you dedicate your time and talent behind-the-scenes, making a HUGE impact quietly, asking for nothing in return because you care about our kids, school and community. Please know you are so valued!
The mission of the PTA is “to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.”
Whether you are giving an hour of your time, donating supplies/food or organizing a large event – EVERY job helps us fulfill this mission. Each membership makes us better, even if you are unable to volunteer. We know life is hectic and we all have different circumstances – the PTA is for everyone no matter how you choose (or are able!) to engage.
With that, WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU! We are already thinking about the 2022-2023 school year and would love your feedback! Whittierstaff and current Whittier families –
PLEASE FILL OUT THE END-OF-THE-YEAR PTA SURVEY to help us plan. HERE is a link. It should take about 5 minutes!
We hope you have a great last few weeks of school!
