2. Jaguar Jog Report
September 18th was an amazing day at Whittier School! We had over 300 people gather to help support our school. There were 134 runners that participated in our 5k and 179 participants in the one mile run! Family and friends cheered on the runners and so many helping hands were there to volunteer in different ways. From set up at 6am until noon when clean up was complete, everything we had worked hard on preparing flowed so smoothly it was amazing.
This event could not take place without our many sponsors and wanted to take time to give them a huge thank you! Thank you Tim Carroll Law, Camping World, Matthies Builders, Samantha Schroeder and Carol Madey from Keller Williams, Shred415, Apex, Therapeutic Health, Gene’s Tire and Auto Repair, Barbara Ruta with New York Life, Little Creperie, Skuddlebutts, Jamba Juice, MB Photography, Fresh Thyme, Peak Running, Every Day’s a Sundae and Peets Coffee! You made a big impact on our day and a huge difference to our school and we cannot thank you enough!
We did things a little differently with our “after party” this year giving Whittier friends the chance to mingle right there at the parking lot. We cannot thank Sarah Bogaczyk enough for organizing this and putting it all together. Jamba Juice sold out of all 300 smoothies if that tells you anything! And the best part about it was all three vendors (Jamba Juice, Skuddlebutts and Little Creperie) gave a kick back to our school!
A special thanks to the Jaguar Jog Committee – Michelle Rafacz, Sarah Bogaczyk, Carla Gianelli, Jen Hense, Val Hardy, Mindy Werner, Paula Schultz, Amy Cable and Jeff Paul. You were the pieces to the puzzle that made everything click!
A special thanks to Mr. Krugman, Maria and the teachers that took the time out of their weekend to spend the morning with us! The kids loved seeing your faces “outside” of school.
We look forward to our 2017 Jaguar Jog and seeing you at the Finish Line!

7. Help Update the Family Directory
Monday is the LAST DAY to add or update your directory information!
Whittier PTA publishes our only school directory, which parents find invaluable for carpooling, homework help, play dates, and more. If you officially signed up for PTA, you were able to choose whether you’d like to purchase a paper copy. A free online version is accessible to all registered users of the PTA website.
If you’re a returning Whittier family, your directory listing has been updated to reflect your student(s)’s grade(s) this year, but please be sure all information is correct: whittierschoolpta.org/directory-listing/
If you’re a new family (welcome!), please enter your directory listing:
whittierschoolpta.org/directory-submit/
We take privacy seriously, and accessing the online directory requires you to log in with the username and password you used to register for the PTA website. If you’ve forgotten your username or password, visit our help page.
Please note that online directory listings will be used in the paper directory, as well, so whether you plan to access the directory online or in print, please be sure your online directory listing is accurate. If you have questions, please contact Ann Russell. Thank you!
