1. Backpack Project Candy Collection
TOMORROW will be the last day to donate extra Halloween candy to The Backpack Project. There will be a parent at each door entrance before school tomorrow for candy drop off. There will also be a collection bin in the main entrance foyer area during the school day today and tomorrow. Thanks for helping support this drive, which in turn will help others. What a great way for our Whittier community to “choose KIND!”
2. Parent Forum @ Whittier
From 7:30-8:30pm, Whittier will host a Parent Forum in the LRC to discuss ESSA guidelines and review information from the recent State School Report Card that was released last week. Babysitting will be provided, compliments of the PTA, in the Activity Room.
