3. Learning Lab Donation Request
The Learning Lab is once again collecting empty toilet paper and paper towel tubes for our upcoming EXPLORE classes! The collection box will be available through the month of April in the front vestibule. Thank you for taking the time to save these items!

5. DGJWC Handmade Market
The Downers Grove Junior Woman’s Club is hosting a Handmade Market (craft show) being held at O’Neill Middle School on Saturday, April 29 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. The DGJWC uses funds raised to support various philanthropic initiatives including scholarships for Downers Grove students!
6. School Board Candidate Open House
The Downers Grove/Woodridge/Lisle League of Women is hosting a Candidate Open House for School Board Candidates in District 58, District 68 and District 99 on Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Lincoln Center, 935 Maple Avenue in Downers Grove.
Each candidate will have a table area to provide information and to speak to voters. At 3:30 p.m., each candidate will have the opportunity to address those present for 2-3 minutes. Thereafter, candidates can return to their tables to speak to voters and share more information.
The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan organization and does not endorse any political party or candidate. They provide this type of event to inform the public about candidates and encourage informed voting.
