Whittier Experiences are a crucial component to PTA fundraising that offers students and families an opportunity to sign up for fun events throughout the year! Past experiences include Running Club, After School Kickball, The Amazing Race, Movie Night and Cake Decorating.
Still have questions? Ask a veteran Whittier Family for details… or better yet, contact Melissa Rausch and she can give you the scoop! Melissarausch@sbcglobal.net
2. Family Fun Night – Lou Malnati’s
Baby it’s cold outside! Family Fun’s solution: order in Lou Malnati’s pizza from the Downers Grove location this Wednesday! Call to order for delivery or pick up… Just be sure to mention your order is for the Whittier PTA fundraiser!

3. WRECK
WRECK (Whittier Robotics and Engineering Club for Kids) is an amazing amount of fun and also a great way to learn interesting engineering and robotics concepts (without even realizing it!). For those not familiar, WRECK is a PTA run program and is offered to 3rd through 6th graders. Utilizing Lego WeDo kits (3rd and 4th) and BRAND NEW Lego EV3 Mindstorms kits (5th and 6th), we will give interested boys and girls an introduction to robotics and programming. The classes will start with learning basic principles and will culminate in a final project that should be challenging and rewarding. No prior experience required!
Registration is open for Session 2 (5th and 6th Grade) and is limited to 16 students. It starts on January 22nd and classes are Tuesdays 6:30 – 7:30. See HERE for all of the details and to register.
