1. Evereve Shopping Event
Join us next Wednesday, March 6th, for a style social at Evereve in Oak Brook to help fund our school’s Capital Projects! 15% of all purchases will go back to our PTA!

2. Kindergarten Roundup Date Correction
The date for this year’s Kindergarten Roundup was incorrectly reported last week as 4/12. The CORRECT date/time is Monday, April 8 from 1:30-2:30pm.
3. Chess Scholars Spring Session
Registration is open for the spring session of after-school chess! Register by 3/8 for the early bird price of $136.50, use the class code WDG3.18.19

4. Cougars Reading Club
Whittier School will be participating in Cougars Reading Club, a reading incentive program sponsored by the Kane County Cougars baseball team once again this year. Your child can earn a ticket to a Cougar game, a Cougars drawstring bag, a free hot dog and drink simply by reading each night for a month from February 13th to March 13th. There are two games to choose from May 26th at 6:30PM or May 27th at 1PM. This is an optional incentive program. CLICK HERE for the record sheet that needs to be turned in to the classroom teacher by Friday, March 15th. Certificates for a free ticket and a few extra surprises will be awarded by the classroom teachers.
