WRECK Dancing Lights! – Sign up now
(sign up will close on November 16th)
Audience: All Whittier Families
Kids (and parents) will participate in two Zoom sessions where they will build their own computer controlled LED light string. These can be programmed to music and become their own personal Christmas light display, or anything else their creative minds come up with.
The cost is $30 per kit, so order as many as you need for your family.
There will be a Monday night and a Sunday afternoon session available. See the link below for exact details.

Halloween Candy Giveaway – The Backpack Project
We will be collecting candy for the Backpack Project again this year! Of course it will be done differently.
There are boxes outside three different houses:
Ann Russell – 5432 Lyman Avenue
Cindy Maquet – 326 5th Street
Julie Sheeran – 5229 Grand Avenue (right across from Whittier Intermediate Playground – easy at drop off)
We will be collecting candy through November 9th.

PTA Reflections – Deadline tomorrow!!
Audience: All Whittier Students
Calling all artists! All Whittier students are invited to participate in the PTA reflections program. To participate, students create an original work of art based on this year’s theme: “I Matter Because…”
Students’ original artwork, together with a completed entry form, may submitted in any of the following categories: visual arts; photography; literature; dance choreography, film production or music composition. Students may turn in entries to the box in the Whittier entryway, or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Entries are due by November 9, 2020.
